aka Sansevieria Trifasciata Mikado Height: 40cm Nursery Pot: 12cm Pot in picture: Cog Potty14cm(sold separately)
Light: Like her cousin, the Snake Plant, the Mikado is made of tough stuff. She’s very versatile and almost bullet-proof which makes her a perfect houseplant for new plant parents. She’s not overly fussy where she lives as long as she gets some indirect sunlight.
Water: Less is definitely more with this one in terms of water. I n the wild, you can find her growing in Africa in very dry conditions. Allow her soil to dry thoroughly before watering.
Height: Slow, upward growth with stiff leaves; she can grow to 1m high. If you want to be very nice, feed him once in spring and once more in summer with organic plant food.
Top tip: As like many houseplants, her leaves can be toxic to cats and dogs so maybe best to avoid if your fur babies are plant chompers.
