aka Epiphyllum Anguliger Height: 30cm Nursery pot: 14cm Light: An easy low-maintenance plant, this unusual cactus originates from the rainforest of Mexico. He has long flat zig-zag style stems that resemble a fish (If it curls on your hand perhaps it can tell your fortune? Then again, maybe not!) Place him in a bright spot with indirect light.
Water: As he is from a humid rainforest he likes his soil to be kept a little bit moist in the summer months. In winter, let his soil almost dry out completely before watering. He's also partial to the odd mist here and there.
Height: These guys can get a little out of hand and can trail up to 1-2 meters!
PM tip: Super long stems can be cut back, and new stems will usually grow from the cut making the plant look fuller. He's also a non-toxic and pet-friendly houseplant.
