aka Alocasia Macrorrhiza
Nursery pot: 17cm
Pot in picture: Curry Pot 19cm (sold separately)
Light: One of the largest in Alocasia species - you've been warned! She's happiest in a position with indirect sunlight.
Water: Stick a finger in her soil once a week and if it comes out dry, it's time for a drink! Rember to reduce your watering during Autumn/Winter.
Try to use lukewarm water as her root system is quite sensitive to temperature change.
She's from the steamy jungles of South East Asia, so humidity is key! Moisture in the air will keep her leaves happy which you can replicate with regular misting or a humidifier.
Height: She's quick to grow and can reach heights of 10ft with the right TLC.
PM tip: Don't be startled in winter months if her bottom leaves to die back - just cut them off at the base when this happens.
As with many houseplants, her leaves can be mildly toxic if ingested.
