A new variety of Xanthosoma, with very large green elephant ear-like leaves. Some people call this plant ‘Alocasia Xanthosoma’. It also looks a lot like the Alocasia, but it is unknown whether it is related.
Light: Bright indirect sunlight is best or a spot where he can get a couple of hours of morning or late afternoon sun.
Water: Stick a finger in his soil weekly. If it comes out dry then it's time for a drink. Reduce your watering in winter, naturally. He also enjoys the odd mist here and there.
PM tip: Rotate him regularly so that get grows straight.
As like many houseplants, he can be mildly toxic if ingested.
