aka Alocasia macrorrhiza 'Stingray'
Nursery Pot: 12cm
Pot in photo: Autumn Potty 16x15cm (sold separately)
Appropriately nicknamed, this guy isn't always easy to come by, so we don't expect him to stick around for long...
Light: This Stingray, Sorry, Alocasia is happiest in a position with bright indirect sunlight.
Water: He enjoys lightly moist soil (not soggy!) during S/S and daily misting. Try not to let his soil dry out completely. Reduce in winter, naturally, but increase humidity.
Height: Feed him every few weeks during spring and summer to keep him happy and healthy. With the right TLC he can eventually grow up to 2 meters tall.
PM tip: Don't be startled in winter months for his leaves to die back - just cut them off at the base when this happens.
As like many houseplants, he can be mildly toxic if ingested.
